Associate Director / Director - Analyst Relations
Job Description: Own and manage relations with industry analyst and advisor community Plan, develop and implement corporate AR strategies to maintain favorable analyst and influencer community perceptions of Virtusa, its services and achievements Manage analyst outreach, including building and maintaining strong relationships with industry analysts and advisors including those from Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest Group, NelsonHall, etc., to ensure the company's value proposition and differentiation are effectively communicated Provide advice, counsel and liaise with colleagues, internal Practice/SBU leaders and subject matter experts for analyst engagement, messaging and communications. Support in the creation of analyst briefing decks, responses for research participation, etc. Manage participation in analyst research including such as that in Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, IDC, etc. Leverage analyst relations and research coverage to support branding, sales enablement, etc.. Identify and Institutionalize AR best practices, benchmarks and frameworks Manage analyst focused events and campaigns including analyst days, strategic advisory days, etc. Required Skills Excellent writing skills including experience in writing/messaging for briefing decks, analyst research participations Familiarity with the analyst and advisors landscape, and strong relationships with key analysts Expertise in managing analyst relations program for a technology company Experience in handling sensitive and confidential issues Ability to coordinate activities across various functional groups while completing projects Strong contract negotiation & closure skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Nice-to-have Skills Good understanding of IT services, including business impact of IT solutions Expertise in MS office suite Working knowledge of photo-editing and document-design programs Desired Profile Overall experience of 12-15 years, of which the past 3-5 years have seen progressive growth in responsibilities Preferably worked in marketing divisions of IT product/ services companies Proven communication and presentation skills Self-motivated and highly disciplined team player Work independently in support of team goals Flexible in doing end-to-end activities with minimal supervision Educational Background: Graduate in any discipline. Technology orientation will be an advantage Advanced degree is an added advantage. MBAs preferred Additional years of related-experience may compensate for an advanced degree
