The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for the sales and induction training of the recruitment consultants across the business (across all levels) in a hands-on, operational environment. The role will focus on the training and management population, utilizing different methods including classroom, coaching and e-learning solutions to meet the business and individual needs. You are responsible for the design and delivery of sales training, content and delivery of the Management induction program and working with key stakeholders across the business to identify strong succession plans. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct bespoke individual coaching sessions Deliver the pre-academy training sessions Help organise and run assessment centers Take a lead role in the training of junior Consultants Support Consultants in all aspects of their role One-to-one desk coaching Providing feedback to managers to ensure follow up and implementation Conduct onboarding training for new to group staff Implement and carry out group training sessions dependant on level Supporting role in the recruitment process to include but not limited to scheduling interviews, assessment centres and managing candidates throughout process Training Strategy Report effectively to the Managing Directors on the progression and development of all consultants Conduct training needs analysis on individuals and make recommendations based on your findings Provide Consultants and their Managers with both verbal and written feedback highlighting strengths and development areas Design and delivery of tailored training for individuals and groups Maintaining a strong knowledge of the company and recruitment processes Assist in the design and maintenance of all training resources, including ensuring all materials are up to date To report back to the Training & HR Manager on the progression and development of all team members Assist in the design of facilitated training sessions and e-learning modules Review and improvement of management development programs To be an expert on sales and customer service techniques and act as a focal point for advice and support in these areas Collate and maintain all training documentation Work with the Head of L&D on specific projects Record all training delivered in the Training report Requirements: Demonstrates behaviors supportive of the spirit of quality, diversity, and inclusion Come from a sales/recruitment background Demonstrates a strong personal and leadership brand Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Commitment to team growth Supportive of corporate initiatives Associated topics: development, job coach, learning, learning and development, specialist, training, vocational trainer
