Accounting Analyst (Financial Services) Our client, a growing Financial Services firm in NY, is looking to add an experienced corporate accountant to their team! This role will involve all corporate accounting functions including accounting and reporting needs for the management company, AP processing, expense management and reporting, and payment reconciliations. Responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst (Financial Services): Manage full cycle accounts payable functions and processing Coordinate and communicate with vendors for payments Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly disclosures in accordance with bank and bond indenture requirements Performed monthly and yearly management reports Month end close responsibilities include preparing journal entries with solid backup support, analyzing financial statement accounts, provide detailed analytics on variances to forecast and to prior periods, present financial performance trends for your assigned accounts, and complete balance sheet reconciliations Ensure financial reporting and processes adhere to GAAP, Corporate/LOB accounting policies, and/or applicable SOX controls Record compensation activities and assist with payroll Manage sub-ledger and fix discrepancies Requirements of the Accounting Analyst (Financial Services): Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 2-4 years of related professional experience Strong Excel and QuickBooks is preferred Ability to multi task and met deadlines seamlessly
