As a Public Relations and Communications Manager, you'll join the companys growing marketing team to oversee key strategic communications programs, as we prepare to move out of stealth mode and into market.

What Youll Do You'll drive the companys Corporate Social Responsibility and Advisory Board programs, and have the exciting opportunity to shape how the company is positioned to key audiences, including external influencers and stakeholders who serve in a variety of industries that impact us. You'll work closely with the VP, Communications and PR and the external PR agency on media relations strategy and execution, measurement efforts, awards and speaking opportunity submissions and internal communications. In addition, you'll be responsible for: Development and ongoing management of CSR and social good strategy, including program creation, selection of causes that align with company positioning and target audience, day-to-day contact with charitable organizations, identification and execution of creative promotional strategy to create ongoing news hooks and content Creation and oversight of advisory program, inclusive of recommendations for members that align with company values and needs, outreach to advisory members, negotiation of terms, day-to-day program management, identification and execution of promotional strategy to best leverage members spheres of influence Support for media relations efforts (in coordination with PR agency and VP of Comms) such as ownership of select reporters and outlets, creation of pitches, press releases, briefing documents and other press materials In coordination with PR agency, track, measure and report on effectiveness of media relations efforts Create and maintain a speaking calendar and awards tracker to identify opportunities for executive/company/product recognition. Develop compelling submissions in collaboration with VP of Comms Support for internal communications efforts ensuring our fast-growing team is up to date on relevant industry and company issues and best practices, clearly communicating market preferences and external communication guidelines About You You're a strategic thinker with impeccable project, time, and relationship management skills. You have energy and passion for ground-up builds and creating brands from scratch. In addition to this, you have: 6+ years of strong work experience in PR/communications, with focus on consumer/consumer tech brands or startups preferred Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field Consumer brand support, either on agency side or in-house (combination of both is ideal) Experience/familiarity working in the CSR and/or influencer space Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of individuals within an organization as well as external audiences (media, agency partners, influencers, etc.) Experience working with and selling in ideas to senior management desirable We hope youll join us!
