The successful candidate will take charge of a new brand services group at this established, name-brand e-commerce business intelligence company. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing strategic brand services, working to gather customer requirements, drive customer retention, identify business growth opportunities, and work with colleagues in product, engineering and operations to create intelligent solutions and services that the company can sell. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, excellent technical credentials (programming is not required but you must understand the technical and project implications of decisions and requests), hands on experience implementing Amazon marketing campaigns and a consultative approach to addressing client needs.. Primary Responsibilities:. Educate customers on the capabilities of company solutions, mapping available and potential products and services to customer needs and pain points; collaborate with customers on requirements gathering, development and documentation of new product / service solutions; act as primary point of contact and liaison for customers during development projects. Collaborate with product development, sales, technical account management and engineering to drive platform improvements that serve customer business opportunities. Work to drive client retention, always ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded; actively foster and strengthen relationships with customers. Partner with social and search teams to ensure customer messaging and public presentation are in alignment with brand strategy and business priorities. Required Experience, Skills and Traits:. 5+ years experience successfully overseeing strategic brand/account services in a scaling environment, with a proven track record of creating intelligent solutions and services that sell. Hands-on experience leading e-comm capability development for brands (e.g., providing guidance on such issues as how data is packaged, identification and implementation of new strategies, identification of new revenue streams and business opportunities) and deep immersion in the commerce and retail space, with strong expertise in Amazon specifically. Team leadership / supervisory experience in a growth environment. Superior emotional intelligence and written/oral communication skills; ability to gain a deep understanding of company solutions and clearly articulate the details to customer staff, ranging from operational through the C-suite
